Located at Keel on Achill Island, the Achill Experience Aquarium & Visitor Centre’s knowledgeable guides will ignite your passion for the oceans and local ecosystems as they take you on a journey through their aquarium where you will see some of Ireland’s native marine species and exotic creatures from around the world.
The Achill Experience’s museum explores the rich history and heritage of Achill Island through the stories of the past, from the Coffin Trail, the Achill Mission and a faithfully recreation of a traditional boley house, allowing visitors to connect with the past and get a feeling of what life was like in Achill long ago.
You can also find the perfect souvenir in their gift shop, which also serves delicious coffee from Cosmic Coffee.
