From the 4th-11th August, Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann comes to Wexford! The streets of Wexford town will come alive with traditional Irish music, dance and culture for people of all ages and abilities. Immerse yourself in the irresistible atmosphere.
Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann is the world’s largest annual celebration of Irish music, language, song and dance.
The event is organised by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann and this year it will be hosted in Wexford Town from August 4th-11th.
The programme of events has something for everyone. There will be a Gig Rig on Wexford's Quayfront, providing free live music throughout the week, with pop up music events dotted throughout the winding streets in addition to scheduled concerts. The most important events for many music lovers will be the competitions. They'll have a food and craft village and this year they will attempt to break a Guinness World Record, in the hometown of the Guinness Book of Records!
