From 27-30 June the heritage town of Kells in Co.Meath hosts over 50 events with authors, artists, musicians & sports icons. There's also a children's workshops, drama live music and Ireland's only Litcrawl!

Now in it’s 12th year, Hinterland Kells returns with it’s eclectic mix of authors, speakers, creatives and performers in the heritage town of Kells, from 27th -30th June. Featuring over 50 events throughout the weekend with interviews, theatre, life-affirming documentaries, street art, live music and Ireland’s only Litcrawl – where budding artists and writers share their work in intimate spaces.

Highlights this year include Booker Prizewinner Anne Enright, veteran journalist Peter Taylor & Irish soccer legend Niall Quinn.

Hinterland also hosts a children’s programme with interactive workshops and a Where’s Wally themed treasure hunt through the shop windows of the town.
