OnePlanet Announces Support for Polygon-based Launchpad Services

This connectivity between the NFT launchpad and the Polygon ecosystem will allow the minting of new collections on the Polygon network.

OnePlanet, an NFT marketplace based on Polygon, has confirmed introducing its launchpad service connected with the Polygon-oriented NFT ecosystem. This connectivity between the NFT launchpad and the Polygon ecosystem will allow the minting of new collections on the Polygon network.

What is OnePlanet?

OnePlanet is an NFT marketplace launched in September 2022, where holders can define and expand their NFTs’ utilities. The platform started as an NFT trading market; it gradually extended to the provision of social features for enabling meaningful communication between tech infrastructure and NFT holders for faster development of a project.

Given the Polygon network’s carbon-neutral, low-cost, and efficient infrastructure, the ecosystem has become the ideal foundation for NFT creators. They can launch their projects easily as the network comprises a composable ecosystem for more than 37,000 dApps, including NFT and Metaverse projects like The Sandbox, Decentraland, Somnium Space, Cryptovoxels, and NFT Worlds.

OnePlanet to Support Launchpad on Polygon

Since its establishment, OnePlanet has encouraged the revival of over 60 Terra-based NFT collections on Polygon. Moreover, it has listed Polygon-based NFT projects like the metaverse project The Mars and the Move-to-earn (M2E) project TRACER to become the industry’s leading Polygon NFT ecosystem-based marketplace.

The P2E blockchain-based Derby Stars project first used OnePlanet’s launchpad. It is a horse-racing game that dropped around one thousand free Randombox NFTs via Allowlist and Public sales.

The project already underwent its 2nd and 3rd pre-sale via OnePlanet’s Terra-based launchpad setting a record of selling out within 1 minute and 30 seconds. A Unique Horse from its 3rd pre-sale was sold for more than $40,000 on a ‘gamified live auction launchpad,” OnePlanet’s press release noted.

It will provide a customizable launchpad to suit every project’s needs and concepts. Such as, it will introduce English and Dutch auctions. Furthermore, OnePlanet will introduce new gamified features to the launchpad for unique minting experiences. Trading will be done via the project’s native tokens.

For its launchpad partners, OnePlanet will offer extensive marketing support, including supporting partnerships with influencers, communities, and other projects in the Polygon network. OnePlanet’s CEO, Pryce Cho, stated:

“OnePlanet has been working closely with Polygon Studios to expand the Polygon NFT ecosystem, and the upcoming launchpad service will contribute to accelerating its growth.”
