Keem Bay is a rural and sheltered beach surrounded by cliffs on Ireland's largest island, Achill Island. It can be found at the head of a valley between the cliffs of Benmore to the west and Croaghaun Mountain to the east. Follow the Atlantic Drive before turning north towards the Golden Strand.
Keem Bay is very popular for water sports and there are surfing schools in the local area. The beach is lifeguarded during the bathing season and more information can be found on the notice boards located at the beach.
