Lisfannon beach is accessible via the R238, through relatively flat landscape with clear continual views to Lough Swilly. The beach is set beneath low dunes which dominate the carpark. The beach is accessed by foot through the dunes.
Lisfannon provides spectacular views of the majestic Lough Swilly, Rathmullan and Inch Island. It is located close to the village of Fahan and the seaside town of Buncrana . An excellent location for bird watching and a great spot to check out a diverse range of Flora and Fauna. The area is a Natural Heritage Area and a key wetlands site for birds.
