Announcing a new exhibit and the first instalment in the series as part of the current running castle guided tours.
This exhibition explores the life of Lord Milo Talbot of Malahide (1912-1973), the last Baron to live at the castle. It covers his childhood in England, his mysterious diplomatic career, his extensive travels and his imprint on Malahide Castle. Recognising his great contribution to botany & plant collecting and research on the art collection.
Milo died 50 years ago aged only 60 and his sudden death led to the eventual end of the Talbot’s at Malahide Castle in 1976. This exhibition looks at his contribution to the history of the castle and the legacy he left behind.
