This June they are delighted to host the 2nd Seán Dunne Literary Weekend which will include exciting new workshops, a gathering of writers individuals and groups, a book launch, new literary tour & the Inaugural Seán Dunne Poetry award prize giving.
Following the success of last year's Seán Dunne Literary Weekend, Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens Tramore, will host the 2nd Seán Dunne Literary Weekend from the 28th to 30th June 2024. Many of the events are Free Entry with some exciting new workshops and new literary tour (which will be priced individually). A close affiliation between Seán Dunne and the Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens was established on the discovery of his poem “A Shrine to Lafcadio Hearn”.
This event was established to encourage writers to develop and share their writings. A Literary Salon (Gathering of Writers) will be held on the Saturday and is open free to writers groups and individual writers to share their ideas, writings and events.
