In a short few months Smithereens have burst on to the Cork and Irish scene. Winning UCC Battle of the Bands, with studio time and a Cyprus Avenue Headline gig as prizes, means even more momentum for the 5-piece jazz/funk/punk fusion band. Sold out gigs in the Roundy, their first headline show in Cyprus Avenue, and gigs in Limerick and Waterford show that Smithereens have set their sights on bigger stages!
