Mitchell’s Café at Kylemore Abbey is renowned for its traditional home-cooked food.

Located on the famous Kylemore Abbey estate, the style and grace of the Abbey have inspired the interiors of our café. Our menu reflects Victorian and traditional style baking and cooking with recipes bestowed by the Benedictine nuns of Kylemore Abbey.

They proudly serve only 100% Irish meat and vegetarian and celiac options are always available.

Mitchell’s Café is a family friendly café. Half price children’s portions and free baby bowls for toddlers aged 4 and under are available. Fun colouring sheets and story books are available for little ones..

Mitchell’s Café welcomes visitors 7 days a week, all year. Mitchell’s Café is an accessible café with accessible toilets and baby changing facilities. Entrance ticket to the Kylemore Abbey estate is not required to dine at Mitchell’s Café.
